Dublin-based Fastnet Films are producers Macdara Kelleher and Morgan Bushe, plus director Lance Daly. Right now, they’re at the forefront of an exciting new wave of Irish cinema, overseeing noteworthy features, television programmes and shorts at a dizzying rate. In the process, Fastnet are nurturing a stable of remarkable home-grown talent, like filmmakers Rebecca Daly, Andrew Legge and Ross McDonnell, as well as in-house creative dynamo Lance Daly himself. In a few short years, they’ve enjoyed both critical and box-office success, been fêted at Toronto, Tribeca and Cannes, and bagged numerous international awards. The consensus suggests they’re only getting started.
